Non-Absorbable Polymer Clips
The Ackermann Polyclip™ has been designed with unique integrated ridges to prevent slippage. The flexible hinge design ensures an easy insertion and removal if needed. It also features a secure locking mechanism with tactile and audible feedback. This clip line is made of a non-absorbable, fully biocompatible polymer material.
The complete range of endoscopic and open appliers; as well as clip removers is available in a variety of sizes and configurations to meet the needs of any surgical procedure.
A unique thumb-operated locking mechanism of the endo appliers is integrated into the handle to prevent unintentional clip closure during travel inside the abdomen, therefore the clip can be inserted into the trocar without risk of unintentional closure. The appliers have no backlash when activated, in addition to tightly tolerated jaw dimensions. The ergonomic handle design makes it easy to use and comfortable for the surgeon.

The Ackermann EUROPCLIP™ medical grade titanium. These implants are accompanied by matching appliers for open, as well as endoscopic procedures by any kinds of ligatures in surgery, all manufactured in our plant here in Weilheim near Tuttlingen, Germany.
This level of ownership over the complete manufacturing process allows us to not only guarantee consistently premium quality but also secured supply chains to support surgeries and medical ligatures globally and on a daily basis.
Our design for ligatures in surgery
The Ackermann EUROPCLIP™ is one of the most atraumatic shaped ligature clips in the market. With its chevron shape design and tip-first closing action placement and position while medical ligatures becomes more precise and secure. The U-shaped profile provides double the safety when being applied around the vessel reducing the risk of misalignment and, therefore, leakage. Our unique surface polishing process guarantees allows for a perfect balance between firm grip and soft tissue contact that prohibits the clips from rupturing vessels while medical ligatures. Our pride and glory, however, is the highly advanced cross serration minted on the inside of each clip. Tests in diverse ligatures in surgery have shown that these grooves not just increase the resistance to dislodgement but also provide a significant advantage in terms of traction over competitive products while maintaining the structure of the tissue.
Our cartgridges for ligatures in surgery
The clips are safely and manually placed into color coded soft-load cartridges that are designed to ensure frictionless one-hand loading action. Additionally, they feature an adhesive on the back to be firmly and securely placed on surgical gloves or other surfaces.
All cartridges are sterile packed in our in-house clean room and later gamma sterilized, ready to be used out of the box in medical ligatures.

The success of this range has pushed us to expand and now also provide appliers for polymer and other brands vessel sealing solutions.
